Page 10 of 12 Like the K10D, the GX-10 is loaded with goodies: a 10.2-megapixel resolution, a body-integral anti-shake system (Samsung calls it OPS—Optical Picture Stabilization) that works with all lenses, a two-tier anti-dust system, a rugged body that’s dustproof and weather-resistant, an attractive ergonomic design and lots more. System Accessories: All three Samsung D-SLRs will accept Pentax lenses, of which there are many. Samsung also offers a pair of Schneider D-Xenon lenses, an 18-55mm and a 50-200mm, for the GX-1 models (these lenses can be used on Pentax D-SLRs, too). GX-1 accessories include the External Flash SEF-PZF, a remote control, an AC adapter and a case. Additionally, a number of Pentax accessories can be used with the Samsung cameras, as well. Camera-wise, the SD14 features a 2.5-inch LCD monitor, simplified
controls for easy operation, a high-eyepoint pentaprism finder that
shows 98 percent of the actual image area, a built-in flash unit and a
built-in dust protector for the sensor that can be used or removed at a
touch (and that sits far enough in front of the sensor that any dust
that adheres to it will be so far out of focus as to not appear in
images). Previous Sigma D-SLRs shot only RAW images; the SD14 also will do JPEGs. And the Sigma Photo Pro 3 RAW image-processing software offers three processing modes to suit your needs: per camera settings, auto adjustment and custom.
